Handwoven Paithani silk saree
Paithani is one of the slowest weaves in India. The pallu is built by tapestry technique — the weaver interlocks coloured weft by hand rather than running it across the full width — which is why a traditional peacock or lotus pallu can take months and why the motif reads identically from both sides.
This is a single-piece edit at present. Paithani is woven in pure silk with real zari, and is worn for weddings and the most significant occasions.
