Iron with Care

Natural Dyes May Bleed

Use Mild Soap
For natural dyed and organic cottons, use mild liquid soap designed for delicate fabrics and cold water. Please do not bleach.
Turn Inside Out
Turn garments inside out before washing to reduce friction on the dyed surface and preserve colors longer.
Use Dye Fixative
Pre-treat handwoven textiles by soaking in diluted vinegar or salt solution to help set the dye. Ready-to-use color fixatives are also available.
Drip Dry in Shade
Drip dry and dry in shade your naturally dyed organic or handwoven fabrics to minimize stress on fibres.
Change Folds Regularly
Refold your stored textiles periodically to prevent permanent crease lines from forming along the fold marks.
