Leheriya textile is one of India's distinctive tie and dye crafts, primarily found in Rajasthan. Drawing inspiration from the desert landscape, the artisans deploy resist dyeing technique to create diagonal, chevron or chatai (Mothera) striped patterns in bright colors, which stand out against the arid desert backdrop.
