Srikalahasthi Kalamkari — a GI-protected craft tradition since 2006.
A deep forest olive ground becomes a rich canvas for expressive hand-drawn florals and foliage in powder blue, mustard ochre, coral red and warm tan. The scattered botanical forms and gently irregular outlines give the composition a lively, almost illustrated quality while retaining the earthy character of traditional Kalamkari.
Drawn and painted by hand in the Srikalahasthi Kalamkari tradition, the slight shifts in line, colour and brushwork are not imperfections — they are the quiet signatures of the artisan’s hand.
Choosing the handcrafted original keeps alive not merely a pattern, but livelihoods, inherited knowledge, skill and the artistic tradition behind it.
Crafted on silk cotton, the fabric brings together the softness and breathability of cotton with a subtle refinement and graceful fall from silk. Sold by the metre, it is beautifully suited to kurtas, dresses, jackets and elegant relaxed separates.
